Here is a quick guide on how to edit or create pages on the Exocet wiki.

To do any of this you must be registered.

If you are new to editing a wiki I'd recommend reading the below and then editing one of the already made pages to see the “code” that has been used previously, this will provide a good starting point, remember anything you change and save will be live instantly.

The first step is to register for a user account, without this you can only view content, this is to stop spam. You can see the link below to get this process started.

Once you have found the content you would like to edit, you should be able to use the link on the right-hand side as shown below to edit.

The wiki uses a special syntax to show pictures, bold text, make headings etc. These can all be found under the formatting syntax link at the top of the editor box as shown below. I recommend you leave this open in a separate browser tab.

You may notice that some links are coloured red, this is because this page doesn't exist, you can create this page by clicking the link and creating the page as shown.

To upload pictures to the wiki you need to use the media manager, this can be found on the right hand side once logged in. Once you have uploaded a file you can use the picture frame icon in the editor to insert the picture. You can also upload directly here instead of using the media manager.
