Most common hand tools will be used at some point during the strip down of your donor car and while building the Exocet kit car.

Required:

• Metric sockets, 6 point recommended. Commonly 10,12,13,14,17mm.
• Metric spanners
• Strong breaker bar and/or impact gun/wrench (1600nm torque)
• Angle grinder / reciprocating saw etc
• Method of heat: Blowtorch, induction etc for seized bolts

• A jack and jack stands or a hoist
• Screwdrivers, lump hammer etc
• Rivet tool
• Drill and Centre punch
• Torque wrenches
• Ball joint splitter
• 28mm / 32mm Socket for hub nuts (varies car to car)

Recommended:

• Rivnut tool (for hose fixings)

• Depinning tool (if stripping wiring loom)
• Crimps, wire strippers, heat gun etc (if stripping wiring loom)
• Tap and Die kit (cleaning threads mostly) (NC M14x1.5mm M12x1.25mm M10x.1.25mm driveshaft M22x1.5mm)
• Metal files (Removing sharp edges on firewall, tunnel etc)
• 22mm spanner for 02 sensors, if removing
• Metric thread pitch tool
• Engine stand
• Stepped drill bit

• Reciprocating saw
