Where to Fix Earth Points
Earth points, I used just about all of the mev installed earth points which are m6 threaded welded on tabs, cleaned the flat surface of the tab first. I als0 used many of the mx5 multi way earth blocks which have the mounting tab on them, to bolt to the mev earth points. They can also be attached to rivnuts
Extend the Lamda cable
It's much cheaper to extend rather than buy and extension cable
For a solution soldering the extension wires to original wires, but original didn't want to accept solder, so I used red butt crimps and staggered the connections. You will see the red heat shrink is in 3 sections as you have to push it back along the cable to make the joints. I then used std black heat shrink over the sleeve joints. Abit of a faff, but way cheaper than the £60 extender that is the alternative method
Location for the fuse box
Location for the battery
A small battery can be placed in the tray or a full size one can be fitted behind the passenger side (helpful if the passenger seat moves for access and changing)
Plug Everything in and Check it works before starting to prune the harness
If you fit the loom and get everything running you can then check as you remove unwanted wires. Watch for the feed for the dash back-light. I think it runs from the heater/stereo to the back of the dash. I removed mine before I realised and ended up putting 16 leds into the dash as I could not trace/find which the wire fed the dash back-light (iva and mot fail). Once running with all lights etc the rest can be fully removed. I kept the alarm module but I believe that can be removed anyway. Take your time and work through it. Start with removing the door feeds and stereo. The air bags as well and you would have removed over half the wiring! Keep the traction control module under the handbrake if you still keeping the abs.
Traction Control Module
Make sure this is pointing in the correct direction, place near the middle of the car under the driver seat
